LOS ANGELES — Despite not being nominated and not being on television, Harry “Hbomberguy” Brewis’ Plagiarism and You(Tube) won Best TV Documentary at the Emmy Awards on Monday night.
“What is going on?” Brewis said, throwing on a coat and rushing out of his door as soon as paparazzi appeared at his home to interview him. “I’m not even in the United States. Where am I going? None of this is a green-screen, I’m really being interviewed on television right now for winning an award!”
Even though allegedly no one quite understands how the video got mixed into the votes without being eligible for consideration in any way, some Emmy voters believe there is some precedent.
“Look, if you make a nearly four hour video describing something, that is, as far as I’m concerned, a TV documentary,” said Emmy voter Garfield Ellis. “And it’s about stealing? That’s basically true crime. It would frankly be ridiculous for it not to win the award.”
Brewis is reportedly in conversation with Netflix to split the documentary into eight 30-minute episodes, each to end with a brand new cliff-hanger filmed by Brewis for the streaming service.

Now this is real Emmy content
I was looking forward to your Emmy coverage… Erm… Yes, it was today.
The Emmys are a scam. It’s all politicking, and no true respect for the art, or the artist. It’s a real shame Danny DeVito didn’t win this.
