HOLLYWOOD — Following Sacha Baron Cohen and Isla Fisher’s divorce announcement this afternoon, Twitter users jumped to their phones to make jokes about wanting to date Isla Fisher. And good news for them: Isla’s into it!
“I just love that people are responding to my divorce by posting GIFs from Wedding Crashers,” Fisher said. “That movie I made twenty years ago is really important in my life. Someone who understands that is the perfect partner for me.”
“If it comes down to it, I am willing to put all 15,000 people who tweeted ‘mah ex-wiiiife’ into a random number generator and just marry whichever one comes up on top,” she added. “That’s so hot to me.”
The tennis-themed divorce announcement included a request for privacy.
“My ideal next boyfriend will be someone who is both immediately disregarding that request and who does so in a manner that is self-deprecating,” the actress said. “After dating Sacha Baron Cohen, it’s truly important to me that my next boyfriend isn’t funny.”
