LOS ANGELES — While on the press tour for “Madame Web,” Dakota Johnson, famous for nonchalantly revealing dark secrets from an insider’s perspective, pulled the veil back on the famous lattes and macchiatos at multibillion dollar coffee chain Starbucks.
“Yeah, it’s just syrups,” she said, seemingly without a care in the world. “You can just make some coffee and put the syrups in there. You can buy the syrups online, and then you get a lot of the drinks for a lot cheaper than if you buy them in the store. And they’ll taste exactly the same. The recipes are out there.”
The interviewer, clearly aware that he was getting a juicy scoop, pressed Johnson for more details.
“I’m really not sure why this is a big deal? You literally just make coffee, and put the syrups in there,” Johnson repeated. “Am I missing something? Can you explain to me why you’re reacting like this?”
The footage from the presser was released a day late, because everyone involved was busy high-fiving each other and celebrating getting what would obviously be a mega-viral clip.
“She is just honestly in a different world, compared to us,” said the interviewer, to our interviewer, who was asking about the interview. “Like, to be able to say that? About syrups? In front of everyone? That’s just… she is bad-ass.”
When reached for comment, Johnson reiterated that it’s common knowledge, and asked us to chill the fuck out and be normal for a fucking second.
